Our work during school closure
Hi Year 2,
I hope that you are all well and keeping safe. If you want to send in any of your work from home, I will add it to this page for your friends to see.
Keep smiling and I hope to see you all very soon. Mrs Howe x
Isaac has been busy learning his spellings and using the correct homophone in his sentences. Well done Isaac!.
Aoife remembered the 22 innocent people who lost their lives in the terrible Manchester Arena bombing. How caring! Then, she researched the needs of Joseph the black cat.
Kyreece has been enjoying reading The BFG and going for lots of walks. He certainly looks happy!
Julian has been busy building, learning about butterflies and exploring Philips Park. It looks like he has had lots of fun!
Alfie carried out an experiment to see whether there were more cars parked up at home or out on the road. What do you think he found?
Isaac has been really busy doing his home learning. He has been an amazing mathematician and even had time to look after his new kitten, Fluffy. How cute do they look together!
Joe's artwork inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. What a budding artist!
Aoife has been busy carrying out the third scientific investigation about objects in the home. Great work Aoife!
Isaac has been very busy doing his home learning. He enjoyed the street's VE Day celebrations - at a safe distance. Isaac is thrilled with his new addition to the family - Fluffy.
Joe has made an altar dedicated to Our Lady - beautiful! He has also carried out the science investigation to find out which spinner fell to the floor fastest. What a scientist!
Max has been introduced to the music of Elton John and is busy learning how to play it. I can't wait until we return to school so that I can hear it Max! He also learnt to ride his bike, saw a peacock butterfly on a walk and has learnt how to play an Italian game called cirulla. Molto buona Max.
Isaac has been learning all about Captain Tom this week. He is able to say how he is like Jesus. Thanks for your hard work Isaac.
Aoife has been an artist this week. She has produced work based on Bridget Riley, but also as part of an RSPB competition. I love the colours!
Eliza has been very busy since school closed. She has been reading Shakespeare books; completing and creating maths puzzles; exercising with Joe Wicks; and making fairy houses for her very own fairy garden. What a lot of learning and fun!
