The book club allows the children the opportunity to choose a book to read together. The children all have their own copy of the book to take home and read. We meet once a month (with biscuits and juice) to share ideas and our opinions on the book and ask any questions we might have about what we have read.
The aim of our book club is
- to share the passion with have for reading .
- to recommend books to other children in the school
- to ensure that all children have somebody to chat with about books.
If you are interested in joining the St Michael's Book club come and see Miss Grundy
in Year 6.
Our upper key stage 2 book club has started. This half term we are reading 'The House With Chicken Legs' by Sophie Anderson. Come back soon to see our reviews and the ideas we have about the book.
